Questions

Which Markdown flavour does it make?

GitHub-flavored Markdown (GFM) tables, which work on GitHub, GitLab, most docs sites, Obsidian and MDLumen.

How does alignment work?

Colons in the divider row set the alignment: :--- for left, :---: for centre and ---: for right. The generator writes them for you.

What about | characters in a cell?

They're escaped automatically, so they don't break the table.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser.
